From Montgomery County Associate Director of Children Services Craig Rickett – “For children, the holidays should be a magical time. Because of FLOC, nearly 1,000 children we are working with will get to experience the Christmas magic that kids dream about. We are so thankful for every single FLOC volunteer who makes these children feel seen and loved.”
From Beth Mann, FLOC Board President - “For over a decade FLOC has brought Christmas joy to thousands of children, allowing them to come and shop in our Toy Cottage. Due to the pandemic, we have decided to bring the toys to the populations we serve, and are so excited to share this program again with Children Services. Each child will receive a coat, hat, filled stocking, games and toys from their caseworker. It is really special to involve the caseworkers and have them bring holiday joy to the children in their care. We look forward to creating smiles all throughout the greater Dayton area. FLOC will hope to serve more than 1,500 this year from Children Services and other local schools and churches. We thank our community for its kindness, its generosity and its support.”
