County Administration Building Parking Garage Reopens

August 8 at 7 AM:

The County Administration parking garage has been cleared and reopened. We apologize for any inconvenience this temporary closure may have caused.

August 8 at 5 PM:

We would like to thank the Dayton Fire Department for their timely response in dealing with the vehicle fire in the County garage today. Anyone parked in the garage may leave at this time, but no one may enter. We recommend that all owners of cars parked in the garage during this incident have their cars washed immediately.
We hope to reopen the garage tomorrow after it has been power washed and received a full structural inspection. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

The public parking garage at the Montgomery County Administration Building (451 W. Third St. in Dayton) is closed temporarily due to a vehicle fire. No vehicles may enter or exit at this time.

If you need to go to the Administration Building, you will need to park on the street or take public transportation. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

If your child attends the daycare/preschool Mini University located in the building, please note that all children are safe and accounted for and back in their classrooms after a brief evacuation. You may need to pick up your child at an alternate entrance/exit on Vista View Drive today, and you will receive further details directly from Mini University staff.
