Highlights

The Miami Valley Regional Crime Laboratory has recently worked with our partners in academia to publish an article regarding the presence of Tramadol in seized drugs also containing Fentanyl and Fentanyl analogs.  You can access the article here.

Miami Valley Regional Crime Laboratory is recognized as being in the top 25 for Forensic Internships. 


The Miami Valley Regional Crime Laboratory is a forensic science facility dedicated to assisting law enforcement agencies with criminal investigations. The MVRCL was the first crime laboratory in the State of Ohio to be accredited by the American Society of Crime Laboratory Directors Laboratory Accreditation Board (ASCLD-LAB) and is currently accredited as a ISO 17025:2017 forensic testing laboratory through ANAB (ANSI National Accreditation Board).  In addition, the laboratory meets the forensic toxicology accreditation requirements by ABFT.  You can read our Quality Manual by clicking the link.

If you are not currently a member agency with our organization, you can review our pricing structure for different services by clicking on this link.  You will be billed once the requested service is complete and do not need to set up anything beforehand.  If you have any questions about billing or would like to inquire about becoming a member agency, please email Brooke Ehlers at ehlersb@mcohio.org.
