Montgomery County Environmental Services offers free education and outreach services for citizens and organizations in Montgomery County, Ohio, including:
- Free tours of our Environmental Learning Center
- Educational Contests to promote sustainability and win cool prizes
- Presentations by expert speakers on topics such as groundwater protection, litter prevention, recycling, water conservation, wastewater (sewer) treatment, and infrastructure investment
- Water Education Website where you can meet our mascots Dewey and Splash
- Neighborhood Cleanup Resources through our Keep Montgomery County Beautiful program
- Recycling Grant Programs to improve recycling and sustainability
- Free Resources for Teachers, including educator workshops and free school supply shopping days
- Green School Initiative for local schools to improve their sustainability efforts and conserve resources
