Dewey and Splash at 2015 Childrens Water FestMontgomery County Environmental Services offers free education and outreach services for citizens and organizations in Montgomery County, Ohio, including:

  1. Free tours of our Environmental Learning Center
  2. Educational Contests to promote sustainability and win cool prizes
  3. Presentations by expert speakers on topics such as groundwater protection, litter prevention, recycling, water conservation, wastewater (sewer) treatment, and infrastructure investment
  4. Water Education Website where you can meet our mascots Dewey and Splash
  5. Neighborhood Cleanup Resources through our Keep Montgomery County Beautiful program
  6. Recycling Grant Programs to improve recycling and sustainability
  7. Free Resources for Teachers, including educator workshops and free school supply shopping days
  8. Green School Initiative for local schools to improve their sustainability efforts and conserve resources

We invite local schools, community groups, and businesses to contact us to learn more about drinking water, water quality testing, wastewater systems, recycling, and litter prevention.
