Homeless Solutionary Awards About the “Homeless Solutionary” Awards A “Homeless Solutionary” is as a person who is motivated by compassion and social justice to use creativity, critical thinking and collaboration to end homelessness, its root causes and interconnected problems. The work of a “Homeless Solutionary” is informed by the realities of the inequities within the housing and homeless services systems and the urgency to transform situations by listening and responding to the needs of others. Award Criteria The characteristics we will like to acknowledge with this award center around one or more of the following: A leader who is engaging the community to end homelessness with proven results An individual who has changed systems within the community, streamlines processes, uses resources in a new way Someone who has forged new partnerships to effectively and positively impact Montgomery County 2021 Homeless Solutionary Honorees Angel Bernard, Rehousing Manager, St. Vincent de Paul Dayton Toni Morgan, Director of Operations, YWCA Dayton Tina Patterson, CEO, Homefull Abriella Ruby, Founder, Love Conquers Dayton Dr. Roger Reeb, Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Psychology Professor at University of Dayton Heather Wilson, Program Services Director at Miami Valley Housing Opportunities “The Homeless Solutions Policy Board is pleased to celebrate its inaugural class of Homeless Solutionary Honorees.
