Cooling Centers to Open as Extreme Heat Approaches

In preparation for the extreme heat expected this week, Montgomery County’s Emergency Management Agency put together this list of cooling centers that will be available for citizens who need a place to get relief from the heat. 

Please be sure to keep your families and pets safe during this extreme heat. Limit your time outside and make sure everyone has plenty of water.


DAYTON

Cooling Centers (6AM-9PM – Monday – Friday)

  • Greater Dayton Recreation Center – 2021 W. Third St. 
  • Lohrey Recreation Center – 2366 Glenarm Ave. 
  • Northwest Recreation Center – 1600 Princeton Dr.

 

Splash Pads (12PM – 8PM – Daily)

  • Fairview Park 2262 Elsmore Ave. 
  • Five Oaks Spray Park 329 Five Oaks Ave. 
  • Mallory Park 3037 Germantown St. 
  • McIntosh Park 882 W. Riverview Ave. 
  • Stuart Patterson Spray Park 238 Baltimore St.

The Farmersville Fire Dept will be available 24 hrs. a day during this period.
