Homicide Victim Memorial

Homicide Victim Memorial

On December 13, 1990, the Montgomery County Prosecutor's Office held the first Homicide Victim Memorial Service.  Every year since, except for 2016, the service has been held on the second Monday in December.

The purpose of the service is to memorialize victims killed by violence and to assist homicide survivors through the difficult holiday season.  It serves to recognize the impact violent deaths have on the entire community.

On the left, you may view the lists of those who have been memorialized at the Annual Homicide Victim Memorial Service. The first memorial service was held in 1990, therefore the lists prior to 1990 are incomplete.
