The Treasurer's Office works in coordination with the Montgomery County Sheriff, Prosecutor, and Common Pleas Court to conduct foreclosures on tax delinquent real estate parcels.
Treasurer's Tax Sales
This sale is initiated by the Montgomery County Treasurer due to the property owner's failure to pay property taxes. Treasurer's Tax Sales occur in person at 10:00am on the first Thursday of every month at the Montgomery County Administration building lower level auditorium.
Mortgage Foreclosure Sales
This sale is initiated by the mortgage company or bank when the property owner defaults on their loan.
Tax Lien Foreclosure Sales
This sale is initiated by a third-party Tax Lien Holder for the property owner's failure to pay the tax lien.
