Community Pride Cleanup Supply Trailer

The Community Pride Cleanup Supply Trailer and Neighborhood Pride Trailer are available for loan to Montgomery County residents and community groups free of charge. The trailers are stocked with tools to help residents remove debris, pick up litter, landscape overgrown areas, and plant trees or flowers. Montgomery County will deliver and pick up the trailers for free. The trailers are loaned on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Solid Waste District Resource Guide

Montgomery County Environmental Services manages the Montgomery County Solid Waste District, which provides waste disposal services for Montgomery and surrounding counties. We also provide recycling, waste reduction, and litter prevention programs for Montgomery County schools, communities, and businesses.

Montgomery County Environmental Learning Center

The Montgomery County Environmental Learning Center is a state-of-the-art education facility, featuring hands-on, interactive exhibits and a green parking lot. The center educates citizens about environmental sustainability and conservation in the Montgomery County region - water, recycling, energy, wastewater, and solid waste.

Environmental Crimes Task Force

The Environmental Crimes Task Force is a partnership between local municipalities, enforcement agencies, and regulatory organizations whose goal is to work with residents, businesses, and the tire industry to promote proper tire storage and disposal, catch illegal dumpers, and ensure the successful prosecution of illegal dumping cases. Water & Wastewater Laboratory Testing Services

If your organization manages a water or wastewater system or you have private well water, we can provide fast, affordable, accurate, and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) compliant testing services. Backflow Prevention & Cross-Connection Control

Backflow is the undesirable reversal of flow inside a potable water system, which can pollute or contaminate the public potable water system. This can happen when there is a loss of pressure in the public water system, such as during a main break or when a fire hydrant is in use. A cross-connection is any piping that could allow polluted or contaminated water into the potable water system. Learn what steps you can take to prevent these nuisances from occurring.

Water Reclamation: Montgomery County Eastern Regional Water Reclamation Facility

The Eastern Regional Water Reclamation Facility is owned by Montgomery County. Each day, the facility safely treats and discharges approximately 8 million gallons of wastewater into the Little Miami River watershed. The facility is operated and maintained 24 hours a day, seven days a week by a dedicated staff of operators, electromechanical maintenance technicians, and technical and administrative support staff.

Got Sewer Backups? Get Help with the Foundation Drain Disconnect Program

Montgomery County Environmental Services sponsors the Foundation Drain Disconnect Program, which provides up to $4,000 in financial assistance to homeowners to help protect against sewer backups. Typical plumbing work may include:

Installing plumbing and valves.
Disconnecting downspouts, floor, foundation, and sump drains from the sanitary sewer.
Installing a sump pump and wet well.
