Sewer
SMART Project
- At a Glance: MCES will build a new influent pump station at its Dryden Road location. Those pumps will transport millions of gallons a day to the Western Regional Wastewater Treatment Facility in West Carrollton. Also to be constructed is a pretreatment facility at Western Regional, which will provide screening and grit removal to remove debris and grit. The screens will remove particles 4 mm and larger.

Belt Filter Replacement
- At a Glance: Montgomery County Environmental Services is designing a replacement for the current Belt Filter Dewatering Device at the Eastern Regional Water Treatment Plant
- Location: Kettering

Concrete Rehab Eastern Regional Phases 1-3
- At a Glance: Montgomery County Environmental Services is repairing concrete structures at the Eastern Regional Water Reclamation Facility in multiple phases. Phases 1 and 2 dealt with safety concerns found in an assessment. Phase 3 (final phase) will repair the concrete in 24 tank structures at the facility.

Woodman Dorothy Siphon
- At a Glance: Montgomery County Environmental Services is currently in the beginning stages of design of a new lift station to replace the existing sanitary sewer siphon that serves the Woodman Plaza and the Kettering Towne Center.

Austin Boulevard Sanitary Sewer Replacement
- At a Glance: Montgomery County Environmental Services is replacing an existing 21-inch reinforced concrete sewer, along Austin Boulevard, immediately north of the Dayton-Wright Brothers Airport. This project is being undertaken in response to a failure of the existing sanitary sewer.

Terrace Villa Sanitary Sewer Improvements
- At a Glance: Montgomery County Environmental Services is lining, replacing, and upsizing sewers in the Terrace Villa area. A relief sewer will also be installed. These measures are being taken to reduce sanitary sewer overflows from manholes and reduce basement flooding.

Erosion Control - Site 14 Newmark Drive
- At a Glance: Montgomery County Environmental Services is reconstructing 100' of 12" Sanitary Sewer and associated manholes that were damaged by a storm sewer outfall and nearby creek.

Habitat and Summit Med Lift Station Replacement
- At a Glance: Montgomery County Environmental Services owns and operates two sanitary lift stations servicing the Habitat Condominium Owners Association properties located west of Springboro Pike (SR 741) and an adjacent commercial park area located on Summit Glen Drive. Both lift stations are nearing the end of their useful lives and will be replaced by one lift station for both services.
