    Municipal Industrial Pretreatment Program (MIPP)

    The Montgomery County MIPP program consists of the following activities:

    • Locates all industrial users and identifies the pollutants they discharge
    • Notifies industrial users of applicable standards and requirements related to pretreatment
    • Analyzes self-monitoring reports and other notices submitted by its industrial users
    • Samples and analyzes the discharge from industrial users and conducts surveillance and inspection activities
    • Investigates instances of noncompliance with pretreatment standards and requirements
    • Provides annual public notification of industrial users which have significantly violated applicable pretreatment standards and requirements
    • Develops and enforces local limits to control the discharge of pollutants by its industrial users into its treatment plant
    • Effectively enforces all pretreatment standards and requirements

    Complete the application for the work you or your company will be doing.
    All applications must be properly completed and signed.
    1.  Fill in information and print the application form
    2.  Sign application
    3.  Scan application and supporting documents/drawings and send as an email attachment to Permits@mcohio.org, or Fax to 937-781-2686
    4. Documents/drawings that can not be scanned or faxed may be mailed or delivered to
