DDC 8/6 Defensive Driving Course
Risk Management will host The National Safety Council's Defensive Driving Course (DDC - 8/6) on February 14, 2012 at Madison Lakes. The sessions will begin at 8:30 AM and will end no later than 4 PM. We are making this course available to all County employees, including those working with affiliated agencies and departments. We will provide authorized instructors, course manuals and lunch for all attendees. A National Safety Council Certificate of Completion will be issued to all who successfully finish the course. Cost for each participant is usually $25 however for this session only, we are offering it for FREE! Space is limited, so please register early. 2012 Safety Breakfast with the Experts
Safety Breakfast with the Experts series is a monthly program of the Dayton/Miami Valley Safety Council. The program is held on the third Wednesday of every month. Participation at a program will count as one credit toward the Ohio BWC’s incentive program. All participants are required to sign in at the BWC sign-in table to receive credit. Each program will last one hour and features a presentation by a local expert on various occupational health and workplace safety issues. The cost to attend is $30 per person, per event if a Dayton/Miami Valley Safety Council member, and $35 per person, per event if not a Dayton/Miami Valley Safety Council member.
