The Montgomery County Department of Job and Family Services (MCDJFS) is seeking information from qualified organizations that can provide Workplace Reorientation Training Services for dislocated workers from the manufacturing sector that have completed occupational skills training or have marketable skills, but have been unsuccessful in obtaining employment.  MCDJFS will be launching a Workplace Reorientation Training initiative that will provide eligible dislocated workers with industry specific training that will enhance their career opportunities in manufacturing.  Services for this initiative could include, but not be limited to:

• Manufacturing Processes and Production
• Maintenance Awareness
• Quality Practices and Measurement
• Safety
• Job Search Strategies
• Resume Development
• Successful Interviewing Techniques
• Team Building and Communication

Deadline and Submittal Information
Plans and Information should be received no later than 5:00 PM (Eastern Standard Time) December 9, 2011.  All respondents will be made aware of any resulting Request for Proposals that are issued.  Please include organization name and one contact person for the RFI submission.
