PUBLIC NOTICE
REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP)
The Montgomery County Department of Job and Family Services (MCDJFS) in partnership with the 5 Star Job Center of Southwest Ohio are soliciting Request for Proposals (RFPs) for the following service on the dates and times listed below:
Youth Employment And Training Program:
To contract with service provider(s) who can provide Youth Employment and Training services to local low income youth who are 14 through 21 years of age and meet WIA eligibility criteria.
Bidder Project Requirements:
All Bidders of services specified in this RFP must:
- Have a history of competent tracking, monitoring, and evaluation of systems to report status of individual participants, as well as program results.
- Have a history of successful enrollment, completion of training, academic enrichment, job placement and follow-up.
- Have a history of success in serving the target population.
- Be capable of establishing linkages with local Boards of Education
- Have a process for collecting and evaluating client satisfaction with all aspects of the program to ensure that their needs are being met.
Target Population:
All local low income youth who are 14 through 21 years of age and meet WIA eligibility criteria. The two Bidder's Conferences will be held:
(1) Dayton Job Center, 1111 South Edwin C. Moses Blvd.

April 1, 2010 at 10:00 a.m.
A contract awarded as a result of this bid process shall be effective July 1, 2010 and terminate June 30, 2011 and is subject to State and Federal regulations, including Title VI of the Civil Rights Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act.
All interested parties requesting an RFP MUST send a representative to the Bidders Conference on the date(s) and time(s) designated. Failure to attend the respective conference may be cause to reject your bid as non-responsive. Request for pre-registration or questions concerning this conference may be directed to:
