REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP)
The Montgomery County Department of Job and Family Services (MCDJFS) is soliciting Request for Proposals (RFPs) for the following service on the date and time as listed below:
9:00 A.M. Friday, March 5, 2010
Children's Defense Fund (CDF) Freedom Schools Program:
To contract with service provider(s) who can provide CDF Freedom Schools Program to eligible Montgomery County residents.
Bidder Project Requirements:
All Bidders of services specified in this RFP must:
- Have previously applied and attended the CDF Freedom Schools Program Orientation and Training Program.
- Follow the guidelines, rules and regulations as mandated by the CDF Freedom Schools.
- Have a history of providing educational enrichment and cultural awareness services to eligible participants in foster care services or whose family's income is at or below 200 % of the Federal Poverty Level (FPG).
- Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of how to provide these services effectively with the designated target population.
- Have the organizational capacity to provide the proposed services immediately following contract approval.
- Have the necessary skills to develop and utilize various methodologies to track program results and specific outcomes.
Target Population:
Participants in foster care services or whose families fall at or below 200% of the FPG. The Bidders Conference will be held at the Job Center, Conference Room C2/C3, 1111 S. Edwin C. Moses Blvd., Dayton, Ohio 45408.
A contract awarded as a result of this bid process shall be effective the date of execution and terminate December 31, 2010 and is subject to State and Federal regulations, including Title VI of the Civil Rights Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act.
All interested parties requesting an RFP MUST send a representative to the Bidders Conference on the date(s) and time(s) designated. Failure to attend the respective conference may be cause to reject your bid as non-responsive. Request for pre-registration or questions concerning this conference may be directed to:
