    GovernorWelcome to the Montgomery County Department of Job and Family Services (MCDJFS) Website.

    The Montgomery County Department of Job & Family Services is a department under the auspices of the Board of County Commissioners that performs four major functions:

    • The administration of Federal and State Public Assistance programs;
    • The administration of Federal, State and County Medical Assistance programs;
    • The administration of Federal, State and local service and day care programs; and
    • The administration of the Federal and State Support Enforcement programs

    Mission Statement:
    Protecting children and the elderly, strengthening families and individuals, and providing opportunities through coordinated services for the residents of Montgomery  County.
