The Montgomery County Department of Job and Family Services is soliciting proposals from organizations interested in providing Child Care and operation services at the Kids Konnection located at the Job Center, 1111 S. Edwin c. Moses Blvd., Dayton, OH.
Kids Konnection provides child care services to Ohio Works First participants who are conducting business at the Job Center. Parents/Guardians must stay in the building at all times. A Maximum of forty (40) children are allowed in the classroom at any given time.
Children attending Kids Konnection will participate in activities designed to teach them how to recognize shapes, the alphabet and how to be creative and express their feelings. Activities may include but are not limited to:
- Music and Movement
- Reading
- Coloring
- Expressive Art
- Puzzles
- Dramatic Play
All toys are the property of MCDJFS and must remain in the classroom.
Selected vendors may be awarded a one (1) year agreement beginning January 1, 2010 and ending December 31, 2010. The contract may contain a one year renewal option which is at the sole discretion of MCDJFS.
All interested parties are strongly encouraged to attend the Bidder's Conference which is designed to receive questions and provide information regarding the Scope of Work and the Request for Proposal (RFP) process. The Bidder's Conference will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at Montgomery County Department of Job and Family Services – Job Center, 1111 S. Edwin C. Moses Blvd., Dayton, OH 45408 in the Video Conference Room C7.
