The Montgomery County Board of County Commissioners in collaboration with United Way of the Greater Dayton Area and City of Dayton, on behalf of the Human Services Levy Council and the Homeless Solutions Policy Board has issued a joint Request for Proposal (RFP) for the provision of the emergency shelter and services for homeless persons, rental assistance for homeless and formerly homeless individuals and families, transitional housing, affordable housing, permanent supportive housing for homeless individuals and families, homelessness prevention, and supportive services. These programs are to be funded through the following sources: Montgomery County Homeless Supportive Services funding, the Department of Housing and Urban Development Emergency Solutions Grant, HOME Housing Investment Partnerships program and the United Way Live United Funds.
