Hospitals
Montgomery County has eleven hospitals with close to 2,400 registered beds, staffed by over 1,600 physicians. Care for the elderly is readily available with over 70 registered nursing homes combined with a rapidly increasing number of home aids. Miami Valley Hospital has won the Consumer Choice Award, issued by the National Research Corporation, for thirteen consecutive years.
