Montgomery County's strong intellectual environment combined with a skilled workforce allows for a successful business environment. Wright-Patterson Air Force Base supports thousands of technical jobs through its work in aerospace related research. The human capital spectrum is quite diverse and the region ranks within the top ten for advanced IT skills in the U.S. With average housing costs below $100,000, the area is a very affordable place to live.
