The Volunteer Program is an important part of Children Services effort to preserve families. It offers a human resource: people who care about the lives of children. Each volunteer attends a training course that includes policies and procedures and skills for working with children and families.

FLOC is a volunteer group which raises funds to provide enrichment and educational activities for the children who receive services from Montgomery County Children Services (MCCS).  State and federal funds only provide enough money to meet mandated services. FLOC's involvement enhances the service MCCS is able to provide to the families in the community.
