    Information Meeting Schedule

Monthly informational meetings for prospective foster or adoptive parents include an overview of our services and programs, a review of the assessment process, and a discussion of our need for foster and adoptive homes. We also discuss the "blended homestudy" option, our expectations, and your role as a prospective foster or adoptive parent.

Through pictures and descriptions, you will have an opportunity to get acquainted with our children who are currently available for adoption. We encourage you to attend a meeting at your earliest convenience.

If after attending you would like to initiate the process to become licensed as a foster care/adoptive parent, you are welcome to attend Session #1 of the required 36-hour training program which takes place immediately following the informational meeting.

The meetings are informal, so please feel free to come and ask questions. Thank you for your interest in fostering and/or adopting through Montgomery County Children Services!
