Municipal Industrial Pretreatment Program (MIPP) MIPP is a federal and state mandated program to regulate certain types of industrial wastes that are discharged into the county's sewer system. While our treatment plants are designed to safely treat human wastes, a certain amount and quality of industrial wastes can safely be treated, further protecting our region's streams and rivers from additional pollution.
