Function Statement
The Environmental Laboratory functions as a support service facility to the Sanitary Engineering Department for environmental testing needs. The lab is certified by Ohio EPA for drinking water analysis in Bacteriology, Chemistry and Trace Metals analysis. The lab can perform over 80 testing procedures on drinking water, wastewater, surface water, groundwater, biosolids, septage and solids. Annually, the lab receives approximately 12,000 samples and performs approximately 50,000 analyses. 

Hours and Days of Operation
Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Provide analytical testing services for;

         Water Reclamation Division including Eastern Regional WWTP, Western Regional WWTP and the Municipal Industrial Pre-Treatment Program

         Field Operations and Maintenance

         Engineering Division including Inspection Services

         Water Supply
