Function:
Montgomery County Public Works Department plans, coordinates and supervises all phases of facility maintenance, operations, and construction.
Our team of engineers, maintenance personnel, solid waste operators, and other skilled professionals work together to provide first class facility services.
Public Works is comprised of several divisions working together to supply needed community services to the residents of Montgomery County. The Building Maintenance Division is responsible for maintaining approximately 40 county building facilities. The Solid Waste Management Division provides education to the community about recycling and recovery programs and manages approximately over 40,000 tons of waste per month. The Engineering & Construction Division is in charge of planning, designing, and managing projects. The Parks Management Division maintains several county owned grounds, including four parks, and provides recreational events for the community throughout the year.
Please visit our underlying department links to learn more about each department function. We are proud of our services and we know you will be as well.
