Summary:
The Montgomery County Animal Resource Center continues to bring quality, professional training to Ohio in cooperation with nationally recognized animal control and animal welfare organizations. In response to requests the Animal Resource Center will be hosting Customer Service for the Animal Welfare Professional conducted by American Humane Association on 8 April 2010 and on 9 April 2010. This training is ideal for those in the animal control field as well as those associated with humane societies.

Customer Service for the Animal Welfare Professional
Animal Welfare employees and volunteers are often at the front lines, addressing crisis situations both in person and on the telephone. Fostering open communications with the public is critical to good customer and public relations. This intense training outlines best practices for communications and customer care, giving attendees the critical skills to foster good customer and public relations, no matter how irate the client.
You will learn what good customer service is and how to implement it at your agency. You will learn to recognize the challenges of diversity in the workplace and you will develop skills and awareness to successfully manage difficult customer service issues.
If you work at all with the public, you will want to take this class!

Tuition: $109.00 per person ($93.00 for AHA members). If registering 30 or more days prior to the class date you will receive a 10% discount on the tuition. Fee includes lectures and participatory activities, and a certificate of completion.

The Montgomery County Animal Resource Center is located at 6790 Webster Street, Dayton, Ohio 45414. Class will be held in a 100 seat training room at the facility. Space is limited so register early.
