Summary:
Montgomery County is applauding the recent joint venture between Dayton-based STAN Solutions and Israel-based Adaptive Imaging Technologies, Inc.
STAN Solutions has entered into a joint agreement to acquire the exclusive, North American distribution rights for a high-resolution, panoramic camera produced by Israel-based Adaptive Imaging Technologies, Inc. The camera uses long-range, wide-area sensor technology to observe and monitor areas up to six miles away.
"STAN Solutions is partnering with the University of Dayton's Institute for the Development and Commercialization of Advanced Sensor Technology (IDCAST) to expand the camera's capabilities with additional sensors," said STAN Solutions President, Tony Manuel.
"Since 2004, STAN Solutions has been an innovative leader in network systems and sensor technologies," added Manuel. "We are proud of this new, global opportunity with Adaptive Imaging Technologies."
"This global partnership is a direct result of the trade mission to Israel in September of 2008," said Montgomery County Commissioner Dan Foley. "The results of the trade mission are exceeding our expectations. In less than a year, we are seeing real results between companies in the Dayton Region and Israel."
Over two dozen leaders in business, community, education, government and military embarked on that trade mission to Israel. The delegation met with over a dozen different Israeli companies that focus on Sensor Technologies, Advanced Materials or Unmanned Aerial Vehicles.
Next month, a reverse trade mission will bring representatives from Israeli companies to the Dayton Region to explore partnering, joint ventures and direct sales.
