Free Workshops for Job Seekers

Summary:
The Montgomery County Department of Job and Family Services is conducting free workshops to assist unemployed individuals in their job search.  The "Get On the Road to Employment Independence" workshops are designed to give job seekers the proper skills to navigate the crowded job market. 

The workshops will be held indefinitely, Tuesdays through Thursdays in the Job Bank area of the Job Center, 1111 S. Edwin C. Moses Blvd. in Dayton. 

The following workshops are being offered:

"How to Write a Resume"
- Tuesdays at 10:00 a.m.

"Job Search Strategies 101"
- Wednesdays at 2:00 p.m.

"Interviewing Skills"
- Thursdays at 10:00 a.m.


Class sizes are limited so please register early by calling (937) 225-JOBS (5627) or register inside the Job Bank at the Job Center.
