Columbus, Ohio – Ohio Treasurer Kevin L. Boyce's Smart Money Choices Tour is coming to Dayton on Friday, June 12, 2009.  The free financial planning conference will provide attendees with a variety of resources and tips to help them get by during these difficult economic times and save for a better financial future.

"Many Ohioans are suffering from the devastating effects of unemployment, home foreclosure and mounting credit card debt," said Treasurer Boyce.  "The Smart Money Choices: From Economic Hard Times to Economic Hope Times conference will provide participants with the resources they need to survive and prosper in this economy."

Smart Money Choices: Economic Hard Times to Economic Hope Times will be held in the Sinclair Community College Conference Center on Friday, June 12, 2009.  The day-long event will commence with an opening session at 8 a.m., followed by workshops, lunch, and a guest motivational speaker. 

Participants have the opportunity to customize their experience by attending breakout sessions that cover topics such as credit and debt, dealing with creditors, budgeting, saving, stress to success, and kids & money.

The conference is free and open to the general public, but advance registration is required to participate.
