Montgomery County will celebrate National County Government Week (NCGW) May 3-9, 2009. This year's theme is "Greening Our Future."
Montgomery County is proud of the variety of ´green' services we provide to the community. National County Government Week is a great opportunity for the public to take a closer look at what we do, how we do it and the people behind the services we provide.

Information Fair for the Public

o Learn about the variety of "green" services available from the Montgomery County Solid Waste District. Friendly staff will be on hand to answer questions and provide tips on simple things citizens can do at home to help the environment.
o Learn about MONCO Enterprises' "Secure Document Destruction" Service through the Montgomery County Board of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities.
o The Regional Air Pollution Control Agency with Public Health-Dayton & Montgomery County will showcase its lawnmower replacement program.
o Learn about Renewable Energy Production here in Montgomery County.
