Summary:
11th Annual Keep Kids Warm To Make A Difference
The Children Services Division of the Montgomery County Department of Job & Family Services has teamed up with Cincinnati Bell for the 11th annual Keep Kids Warm winter wear collection. Starting November 28 through December 19, donations of NEW hats, gloves, mittens, scarves and earmuffs will be accepted for abused and neglected children of all ages in Montgomery County.
"Even in these difficult economic times, the people of this community understand how important it is to help children who are less fortunate," said Children Services Assistant Director Gayle Bullard. "Such a seemingly small, inexpensive act of kindness goes such a long way."
"Cincinnati Bell is excited to be part of the 11th annual Keep Kids Warm winter wear collection," said Lisa Sammons, director of advertising for Cincinnati Bell. "Giving back to the communities where we operate and where our customers and employees live is part of our company's heritage. Think how many children we could help if we each contributed just one pair of gloves or just one scarf. I hope everyone will consider participating by dropping off a donation at any of the Dayton-area Cincinnati Bell stores."
Donations of NEW winter gear items can be made at any participating Cincinnati Bell Dayton location, RiverScape MetroPark Ice Rink in downtown Dayton, Children Services, 3304 N. Main St. Dayton and the lobby of WMMX Radio and WLQT Radio, 101 Pine St., Dayton.
