Summary:
Montgomery County residents now have a new tool, or rather a set of tools, to use to assist in litter cleanup and beautification efforts in our neighborhoods.
A first of its kind in the State of Ohio, the Community Pride Cleanup Supply Trailer (CPCST) is a 24 feet cargo trailer stocked with lawnmowers, trimmers, leaf blowers, wheelbarrows, shovels, rakes and other assorted tools for use in neighborhood cleanups.
The CPCST is now available, free of charge, to groups of five or more Montgomery County residents, community groups, school groups, youth groups and neighborhood associations. Groups wanting to borrow the trailer can do so for a maximum of three days. An application form must be filled out along with all accompanying forms at least two weeks in advance of the cleanup event.
More information and all forms can be found at www.mcswd.org under Litter Programs or by calling 225-4999.
Montgomery County Commissioner Judy Dodge says, "As Montgomery County Commissioners, we want the very best for our citizens and our neighborhoods. We are incredibly proud to now offer the Community Pride Cleanup Supply Trailer through the Montgomery County Solid Waste District. It is just another way we can all ´Keep Montgomery County Beautiful.' Citizens now have the tools they need, free of charge, to improve the neighborhoods they call home."
