The personnel office is responsible for the personnel and labor relations functions of the agency, which includes recruitment and selection, employee discipline and the collective bargaining process. The Sheriff's Office continuously receives and adds information to the sexual offender directory. Information about an offender remains in the directory indefinitely or until the Sheriff's Office receives a copy of the individual's death certificate or court notification that a person's conviction has been overturned; or the individual is no longer required to register. Real estate foreclosure sales are held in the Commissioners Hearing Room on the 10th floor, Montgomery County Administration Building, 451 West Third Street, Dayton, Ohio, and the sale begin promptly at 10:00 A.M. To obtain copies of traffic crash reports, and criminal incident reports, please be ready to provide the Records Section staff with the date and time the incident or crash occurred, the location, and, if available, the report number.
