Public Meeting - Yankee Street Reconstruction & Widening Project Proposed

Paul Gruner, P.E., P.S., Montgomery County Engineer, wishes to announce that the Montgomery County Engineer’s Office is proposing to reconstruct and widen Yankee Street to three lanes from Social Row Road/Austin Boulevard to Winding Green Way with scheduled construction in 2016.

The public is invited to an open house meeting on Wednesday, March 13, 2013, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., in the Academy Room at the Yankee Trace Golf Club, 10000 Yankee Street, Centerville, Ohio 45458.  Meeting attendees will have the opportunity to view displays showing the planned improvements and documenting the purpose and need for the project, as well as showing potential effects of the proposed construction on surrounding properties.  The Montgomery County Engineer’s Office will provide a brief project update at 5 pm. This update will be followed by an opportunity for citizens to make public statements if they choose. Citizens desiring to make public statements will be asked to limit their statements to less than three minutes. Following the public presentation and forum, citizens will be provided an opportunity to speak one-on-one with members of the project team.
