County Commissioners Kick Off "Iams Home 4 the Holidays" Campaign

On Friday, December 21, 2012, Montgomery County Commissioners Judy Dodge, Dan Foley and Debbie Lieberman our partners from the Humane Society of Greater Dayton and the SICSA Pet Adoption Center to kick off the “Iams Home 4 the Holidays” campaign.  This global effort encourages people to adopt a pet from a local shelter this holiday season.

Right now, as many as 8 million animals are homeless in the United States.  Last year, the “Iams Home 4 the Holidays” pet adoption drive found loving, adoptive homes for over 1.25 million orphaned pets.  Montgomery County is proud to be a part of the effort each and every year.

The “Iams Home 4 the Holidays” Pet Adopt-A-Thon will take place on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at the Dayton Mall from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
