Montgomery County Helps Economic Growth in Butler Township

September 29, 2011 - Demolition started today on the old Rodeway Inn site at 4079 Little York Road in Butler Township.  Montgomery County funded the project with $139,165 of Community Development Block Grant Funds.  Removal of this blighted property is a complement to the improvements along the Interstate 75 corridor.  Butler Township hopes to pursue economic development opportunities for the 8-acre site once it is cleared.
