FREE Shred Day a Big Success!

MONCO Enterprises held its FREE shred day Saturday, October 15 at the shredding operations center, 700 Liberty Lane.

More than 277 cars stopped by to drop off in excess of 18,000 pounds of paper products. This will result in over twelve 1,500 pound bales of paper that will be recycled. Revenue from the recycling will benefit individuals with disabilities. The event began at 9:00 a.m. and finished at 1:00 p.m.

Three program participants and ten staff were on hand to process the containers of documents. Many participants shared that they saw the announcement on the county website, in the Dayton Daily News and on multiple media websites over the last three weeks.
