MONCO Enterprises Inc. Secure Document Destruction and Scanning Services will host a free opportunity to shred personal documents, old tax information and confidential papers from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Saturday, October 15, 2011, at their shredding operations center, 700 Liberty Lane, Dayton, Ohio 45449. The building is located immediately behind the new West Carrollton YMCA.
MONCO is a not-for profit organization administered by the Montgomery County Board of Developmental Disabilities Services (DDS) that helps adult individuals with disabilities find employment. They offer unique and personalized services based on interests, skills and abilities, to the individuals they serve. The Board of DDS is a Human Services Levy funded agency.
This business is an innovative employment opportunity for people with disabilities. MONCO offers a state-of-the-art AAA NAID Certified facility dedicated to the document shredding process. Within this facility, the large capacity industrial shredder is able to shred 4,000 lbs of documents per hour. The shredded paper is sold to a reprocessing business for recycling, and the proceeds are distributed to the workers at the facility.
