Clerk of Courts Elected to State Office

Gregory A. Brush, Montgomery County Clerk of Courts was unanimously elected by his colleagues to serve as President for the Ohio Clerk of Courts Association. This association represents Clerks of Courts from all 88 counties in Ohio and is the leading advocate for the office of Clerk of the Court of Common Pleas.

“It is an honor and privilege to have been elected by Clerks from all over Ohio. 2011 is going to be a challenging year and I look forward to the opportunity to serve,” Brush stated. Mr. Brush took the oath of President on Thursday evening, December 2, 2010 at the annual conference held at the Crowne Plaza North in Columbus.

The Clerk’s office currently employs 100 deputies spread out over 8 locations in the County and has a total budget of over $6 million dollars, making the office one of the largest Clerk’s offices in the state of Ohio. Montgomery County is known as a leader in the use of technology and for it’s innovation of effective solutions to complex issues.
