During the hottest and muggiest part of the season, Webster defines “dog days” as:
1: the period between early July and early September when the hot sultry weather of summer usually occurs in the northern hemisphere.

It is also the time when adoptions are ½ off at the Animal Resource Center!!

Puppies 5 months and younger: $72.00 + $20.00 license = $92
Puppies 6 months and older: $60.00 + $20.00 license = $80
