October 21, 2009 - Montgomery County Commissioner Judy Dodge joined City of Dayton Mayor Rhine McLin and several other dignitaries for a ribbon cutting celebration in Downtown Dayton. The ribbon cutting signified the opening of Main Street following a five month reconstruction project between Monument Avenue and Sixth Street. The Chaminade-Julienne High School Pep Band, vintage cars from America's Packard Museum and dozens of bicyclists were on hand for the celebration. The reconstruction of Main Street in downtown Dayton was completed two months ahead of schedule.
