Montgomery County Litter Free Day at the Dayton Dragon's

Litterfree

Litterfree

Montgomery County Solid Waste District through its Keep Montgomery County Beautiful program celebrated Litter Free Day on Sunday, June 14, 2009.  A total of 306 cleanup volunteers were treated to a Dayton Dragon's baseball game as a way to say thank you for all their hard work in making our community a little more beautiful.  The cleanup volunteers participated in the Great American Cleanup, Adopt-An-Area or the Community Pride Cleanup Supply Trailer programs.  Pictures of the volunteers were scrolled across the scoreboard and included in the Play Ball program.  Lucky the Lady Bug, our litter mascot and Mike Schommer, a cleanup volunteer threw out the first pitch.  We appreciate their commitment to Keeping Montgomery County Beautiful!
