The 2009 State Roadway Cleanup Kick Off Event was held Saturday, March 28, 2009 at Dayton Dragons Fifth Third Field.  Former Ohio State University football great Archie Griffin was the featured speaker.  Over a two hour period, 250 volunteers picked up 6,365 pounds of trash and 880 pounds of materials that can be recycled.  The volunteers covered areas all over Montgomery County.
