Montgomery County's America Recycles Day

Montgomery County's America Recycles Day was a huge success!  On Saturday, November 15th, almost 1,300 kids and their parents came out to the Boonshoft Museum of Discovery in Dayton.  This year's theme was "The Magic of Recycling."  Many children, and some adults, came dressed as their favorite "Harry Potter" characters!  The first 300 people who brought 10 aluminum cans received free admission.  The next 200 people who brought in 10 aluminum cans received discounted admission.  The Montgomery County Solid Waste District collected 228 pounds of cans!
