"Ready and Resilient Communities" is the Theme for National County Government Month This April

Every April, the National Association of Counties (NACo) celebrates National County Government Month with an important theme.  This year’s theme is “Ready and Resilient Counties: Prepare. Respond. Thrive.”  Montgomery County has chosen to use this month to highlight the importance of personal preparedness for disasters.

The Montgomery County Office of Emergency Management will be conducting personal preparedness presentations around the County this April.  These one-hour presentations will focus on the three steps all residents should take to prepare for emergencies and disasters: Get a Kit, Make a Plan, and Be Informed!
