FREE Shred Day - Saturday, October 19, 2013

MONCO Secure Document Destruction and Scanning will host a FREE opportunity to shred personal documents, old tax information and confidential papers from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Saturday, October 19, 2013, at their NAID AAA Certified shredding operations center, 700 Liberty Lane, Dayton, Ohio 45449.  The building is located immediately behind the West Carrollton YMCA.  Donors are limited to a 10 box maximum. All are welcome but no businesses please!

This business is an innovative employment opportunity for people with disabilities. With high speed industrial shredders, SDD is able to shred thousands of lbs. of documents per hour.  The shredded paper is sold to a reprocessing business where it is recycled.  A portion of the  proceeds are distributed to the workers at the facility.

MONCO is a not-for profit organization administered by the Montgomery County Board of Developmental Disabilities Services (DDS) that helps adult individuals with disabilities find employment.  They offer unique and personalized services based on interests, skills and abilities, to the individuals they serve.

The MONCO Secure Document Destruction Center serves as one of the many opportunities that offer people with disabilities the chance to serve the community and work hard for their pay check.  Look Beyond…the Disability!  Protect your identity by participating in this free shredding event.
