August Workshops - Youth Resource Center

The Youth Resource Center is available for all Montgomery County young people ages 14 through 24.  Multiple resources are available to assist you in achieving education, employment and health goals.  Please call ahead and reserve  your spot today:  937-496-7987.

All workshops are limited to 20 people maximum and you must pre-register by phone in order to participate.

Employment Readiness Training – YRC

Ready. Set. Resume! – YRC

Creating a résumé and keeping it up to date is the best way to be ready for the right job opportunity. At this workshop, you will have the opportunity to create or edit a resume that will stand out from the rest. So, if you are ready to get that dream job or switch to a new career, let the YRC help you by creating a resume that will ensure you get your foot in the door!

Record Expungement/Seal – Montgomery County Juvenile Courts

This workshop will inform youth 18 years of age and younger on how to remove, clear, and cut out a juvenile criminal record. Those who want general information about sealing and expunging juvenile criminal records do not need to RSVP.

STI Prevention and HIV Testing – Equitas Health
8/25/2017 – 1pm
This workshop is to educate youth on topics ranging from safe sex practices, to sexually transmitted infections, and preventing unplanned pregnancy. This session will engage youth in our community and strive to educate youth on abstinence, condom usage, or general STI information. Free HIV testing will also be provided and conducted in a confidential manner.
