Obtain a dog license?

Dog licenses may be purchased at the County Auditor's office, the Animal Shelter and other authorized agents around Montgomery County. The application form is available above and can be printed out and sent to Karl L. Keith, Montgomery County Auditor, Dog Licensing, 451 West Third St., Dayton, Ohio 45422 with the licensing fee.

Obtain a cigarette dealer's license?

Anyone who sells or transports cigarettes within Montgomery County must obtain a yearly Cigarette Dealer's License from the Montgomery County Auditors office.

Obtain a vendor's license?

The Auditor's Office issues only the retail vendor license. The retail vendor license for a business located within Montgomery County, Ohio can be obtained at the Montgomery County Auditor's Office at 451 W. Third Street, 1st Floor, Dayton, Ohio 45422. The Auditor's Office can be reached regarding retail vendor license at (937) 225-4314.
 
All other vendor licenses (service, delivery and transient) are issued by the State Department of Taxation. The Dayton District is located at the Centre City Building, 15 E. Fourth Street, 5th Floor, Dayton, Ohio 45402. The phone number for the Dayton District of taxation is (937) 285-6412.
