• The Commissioners heard an update on the Montgomery County HOME Program including information the local programs that are receiving these funds.  Staff from Montgomery County Community & Economic Development was recognized for receipt of the Year 2008 Award of Excellence from the U.S. Dept. of Housing and Urban Development for Montgomery County's timely and efficient use of HOME Investment Partnership funds for over 5 years, by consistently disbursing the highest percentage of HOME funds during this time period.  Montgomery County has demonstrated its commitment to the goals of the HOME Program by actively addressing its affordable housing needs.
