Montgomery County citizens can call this number if they have questions or concerns about the storm clean-up efforts. The phone staff will gather information to address specific needs in the county.
Also, as a result of the severe wind storm that swept through the area over the weekend, Montgomery County has declared a state of emergency. This emergency proclamation is allowing Montgomery County to enlist assistance from the State of Ohio.

Governor Ted Strickland met with Montgomery County officials on Tuesday, September 16th at the Masonic Temple shelter on Riverview Avenue in Dayton.
Governor Strickland took a driving tour through several Montgomery County communities to survey the severe damage left behind by Sunday's wind storm. A private briefing was held with Montgomery County Commissioner Judy Dodge and officials from Emergency Management, the Sheriff's Office, Dayton Power & Light, Public Health, the Greater Dayton Area Hospital Association, the American Red Cross and the City of Dayton.
