    Foreclosure Sales

     FORECLOSURESALES  

    Montgomery County conducts three types of Foreclosure Sales:

     

    • Mortgage Foreclosure Sales – Sale initiated by mortgage company/bank when property owner defaults on their loan.
    • Treasurer's Tax Sales – Sale initiated by Montgomery County Treasurer for property owner's failure to pay property taxes.
    • Tax Lien Foreclosure Sales – Sale initiated by the Tax Lien Holder for property owner's failure to pay tax lien.

    All Foreclosure sales are held in the Lower Level of the County Administration Building, 451 West Third Street, Dayton, Ohio 45402 and begin promptly at 10:00 a.m.   Check the Sheriff Department's list of properties for the exact sale date.  The list is updated weekly.
